Welcome!

My name is Kristy Baker. I am a birder and amateur photographer that enjoys photo documenting birds, butterflies and dragonflies, as well as all of Mother Nature's beauties. I typically don't wander too far from home for my hobby as I enjoy visiting local sites.

Beginning in July 2019, I switched to a Panasonic Lumix G9 camera and a Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens. I couldn't be happier! As someone who does not use a tripod or a flash, the lighter weight combined with the image stabilization in both the camera and the lens allow for better quality images.

I try my best to identify the subjects of my photos using field guides, online resources and searches. When I cannot, I turn to others for help. If you notice anything that has been misidentified, please do let me know.
